About

We took the best part of planning a vacation — spending money you shouldn’t — and removed both the vacation and the money.

What this is

TripNeverHappens is a dopamine travel simulator. You pick somewhere expensive, upgrade irresponsibly, watch a total climb into six figures, tap a payment button, and get a beautiful confirmation for a trip that does not exist. Then you go and do something else.

The whole thing takes about a minute. Nothing is booked, nothing is charged, and you have not moved.

Why it works

The enjoyable part of booking a holiday is not the airport. It is the twenty minutes where you are choosing between a good hotel and an absurd one, and briefly believing you might pick the absurd one. That part is free. We kept it.

What we do not do

We do not take payment details, sell travel, use any real airline or hotel brand, or pretend a real booking was made. Every carrier, property and card in the product is invented, and everything that leaves the site — share cards, boarding passes — is labelled as fake. Read the terms and privacy notice if you want the specifics.

Who built it

TripNeverHappens is made by Sunnysoft.
